In 1973, the three Italian designers Jonathan De Pas, Donato D’Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi created the foldable clothes rack Sciangai which today is an absolute classic and convinces with its simplicity and natural expression.
Sciangai coat rack is characterized by great stability, so that jackets and coats can be hung up in a manner appropriate to their species and at the same time stylish. Sciangai is the closable coat stand in burgundy varnished ash and worked with particular originality, its effect is very pleasant from any side you look at it.
Its stunning finish and impressive practicality won the piece several design awards from around the world, and exhibitions in museums like The Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Fondazione Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
