The designer Steve McGugan fascinated by the development taking place on the philharmonic’s construction site at the Elbe River in Hamburg, he was inspired to create this product, as a tribute to this wonderful example of architecture.

The shakers themselves, observed individually, remind one of modern sculpture and if arranged together on their tray they suddenly create a miniature excitingly similar to the Elbphilharmonie with its wavy rooftop.

A useful utensil for your dinner table and at the same time a timeless sculptural item based on contemporary architecture.
